- When is an ‘abnormal’ result satisfactory, and how can we identify the ‘normal’ result that is clinically significant
- Haematological conditions including anaemia, leukaemia, B12 deficiency and thrombocytosis
- Renal disease including acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease
- Biochemical abnormalities including hyperkalaemia, hypokalaemia and hyponatraemia
- Liver function tests
- Endocrine tests including thyroid disease, parathyroid disease and calcium abnormalities.
- Cardiovascular tests including NT-proBNP and lipid management
- Inflammatory markers including their uses in PMR, GCA and myeloma
